MAXIMUM HEIGHT: It generally reaches up to 2-feet height, if taken care of well can grow further.

  GROWING TIPS: 

  • Planting: wandering jew can be easily planted just by cutting the stem and putting it in the soil. Within 1 week it develops roots and grows well.
  • Watering: for the best growth only water when the upper soil is dry either in case summer or winter season. 
  • Sunlight: for making your wandering jew leaves brighter and classy you should prefer keeping the plant at least 5-6hr in indirect sunlight if the plant is kept indoors.
  • Water Sprinkling: One of the most underrated aspects of keeping your plant really healthy is to water through a sprayer in the leaves, which leads to enhanced growth in the plant (DO NOT OVERWATER)
  • Propagation: propagate your plant when its root begins to come out of the pot resulting in making pot size look small. For propagation simply cut out from the bushy stem below the place where a bunch of 3-4leaves is present and place it in the soil just within one week its roots will be grown and it begins to flourish again in well-drained soil.

PLANT CARE  

  • LIGHT CONDITION: Wandering Jew Plant is a sun-loving plant. Best grown in Indirect Bright light, Semi shade, or room bright sunlight.
  • WATERING SCHEDULE: In any circumstances do not overwater much in your plant. But since it always prefers the sun you can water it daily in summer or water when upper soil is dried either in summer or winter.
  • SOIL TYPE: The soil should be fertile, well-drained, and rich in organic content.
  • TEMPERATURE: The average temperature should be 25-35Degree Celsius.
  • FERTILIZER APPLICATION: You can apply any organic fertilizer once a month. Do not forget to water your plant after applying fertilizer.
  • PLANT PROTECTION: Cut all the unhealthy (yellow-brown ) leaves weakly. Usually, fungus or pests do not affect plants much in jew plants but in case you can always use Neem oil or fungicide.

Care Must be taken after receiving the plant (10-15 days)

  1. Remove the Packaging Materials carefully from top or bottom.
  2. Add the additional soil in the pot if it's scattered or press the soil inside the pot.
  3. Do not water the plant if it's already wet. Only water if sand is dry ( maintaining moisture)
  4. Never ever transplant the plant for at least 10-15 days. You can leave the plant for balancing itself according to the environment and then can prefer reporting if needed. 
  5. Make sure to keep the plant in at least 5-6 hr of indirect sunlight for days until it is Rejuvenated.
  6. Just cut all the leaves which got broken in transit or turned brown.
